Just like most other pieces in this portfolio, this website itself is, and was, also an assignment! This website is my final web project for SMAD 203, my class in coding, web development, and UX design. On this page you will find a full-fledged design rationale, explaining and detailing all the how's and why's of what went into making this website and why certain design choices were made.

Design Rationale
This site includes 2 relevant widgets that help it to function the way it does, namely, Wix Portfolio and Wix Forms. The Portfolio on this site would be impossible to have without said plugin; the plugin is also a very big help when organizing with the best parent-child organization system in mind (when sifting from Portfolio to Collections to individual Projects). This site's main purpose is to not only showcase my digital media work, but to appeal to my own target audience of people searching for photography services through my main website for KMA Media, LLC. In linking this website to that one, they can hopefully view my work and be more confident in their decision to hire me for their own photography or design needs. It is my hope that through consistent typography, color, information hierarchy, user interface, and user experience design-- as well as through similar aesthetics to my main website-- I will reach my target audience effectively and have a creative and visually interesting final product that communicates those goals.
